Emiliana Martinelli
Originally from Lucca, she graduated from the ISIA in Florence and subsequently from the Faculty of Architecture of the same city. After graduating, he immediately joined the family business, Martinelli Luce, one of the most important Italian lighting companies; where his father Elio is his most important master and design colleague. Emiliana currently carries out a dual activity in the company, both as owner and entrepreneur, and as an all-round Art Director and Designer:her occupations range from the design of lighting fixtures to the care of the corporate image at a graphic level. Following the traditions of Martinelli Luce, Emiliana's sources of inspiration are basic geometric shapes and nature. Some of his objects, such as the Colibrì lamp, have received international awards, and have allowed a positive reputation outside our borders. Emiliana is also a prominent figure in the dissemination of the culture of Design:she collaborates with illustrious designers, both internal and external to the Company, helps young designers to cultivate their talent and collaborates in the preparation of exhibition spaces, sometimes designing unique and large size for certain events.
