Empatia table lamp

Empatia is born from the combination of the great tradition of blown glass and Artemide's LED technology. The strong interest in the expressive potential of the material has led to collaboration with master glassmakers, to gain full control over the unique plasticity of Venetian glass and to work on the balance between surface and light, between subtle densities and transparencies. The result is clear, pure objects, crafted in such a way that they are truly unique pieces. Transparency and opacity are skillfully balanced to achieve glass that reflects and diffuses light without dazzling, while maintaining efficiency. The result is an optical machine that has its heart in a high-performance LED light engine, which is designed separately from the glass emitting body for thermal and performance efficiency. The light is controlled with maximum efficiency and directed to the glass diffuser through a transparent light pipe with a very low absorption coefficient.
